LMAO @ everybody praising dem photoshopped legs
That show is horrible. I stumbled across it earlier this week. Don’t bother.
Lol @ “a h*mosexual (his real self) in “6 Degrees of Separation (of Will Smith’s buttocks” Judah, you are so right about that!
@ 44
You are so right. I have not see Martin since high school. I forgot that dressed up as Sheneneh every episode and his mother. He played Sheneneh so well, I forgot it was Martin (a dude).
Love the pictures! But the show is pretty dayum ridiculous, and I REALLY wanted to like it.
THE SHOW LOOKS CORNY, BUT I LIKE TATYANA ALI’S PICTURES – THEY’RE NICE
Why isn’t my comment posting?
This “Buppies” isn’t half bad from what I saw.
Love that girl—-Well, for the 1st time I’m disappointed in Tv-One. Tv-One Access was a much better fit.
The content of the show is very, and I mean very dry. Not funny whatsoever. Martin “You have to come better than this”. I concur with the majority in regards to the stereotypical images.
Although I love and respect Raphael Saddiq’s music (avid fan), the theme song was mediocre with a lackluster opening. I support black television continuously, I just don’t want these projects to conform with that execs think is entertaining.
WAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP… THE SET LOOKS LIKE MOESHAS OLD SET… C’MON TATYANA U CUDVE DONE BETTER!!!
She’s so pretty.
But that show looks wack as hell.
I KNEW IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE SHE STARTED SHOWING A LITTLE SKIN. TRYING TO BREAK OUT OF THE ASHLEY BANKS SHADOW IS TOUGH. NEXT SHE WILL HAVE A SEX TAPE OR SOMETHING.
Come on…Is this an attempt so that the Networks are somewhat throwing the African American Viewers a bone. I know we deserve better sitcoms, and entertainment than this. They keep giving us this mess, knowing we not going to like it, and then cancell it before the season is over. Then the networks will say, that we’ve tried, but the ratings were not good. Give me a break…..give us something to work with here.
I am a fan of Tatyana Ali. She is a very talented sister and I enjoyed watching the preview of Love That Girl. I would like to see more of it. There are not many black sitcoms on. I think this one deserves a chance.
Love Tatyana and the Ghetto Girl. But unfortunately they the only ones that are funny. I think the show deserves a chance ,She just hustlin’ . But they might wanna replace the brother (Bucky from Fat Albert) and the gay guys with more YOUNG WELL-KNOWN ACTORS. LOL!!
I do agree w/ # 67 too. TV One Access & Buppies seems more like her. Love “IMUNIQUA”
i liked the show alot..it was funny..im tryna find out why its not still on tv..at least these people have a career and money in the bank. stop judging people and change the channel if you dont like it..no matter what u say they still gettin paid while u sitting sitting around with too much time on your hands!!
show tries too hard, seems like crappy 90′s humor that just doesn’t play now… let it rest, give up this show, not worth the time watching… the gay guys are too gay, the brother Latrel, tries way to hard to be funny instead just another bad cliche… the episode about the sister dying from kidney disease and needs a doner?? wtf are you guys thinking? poor taste… just shut it off, you need to know when to just quit!
THe ghetto girl character is over the top. It has been overdone and I am tired of seeing it. She is not at all funny like the Asian character on Half and Half show. Maybe if Cole, Brother Man or Tommy did a guest appearance and the receptionist were different. I think a funny elderly character (Like garret Morris or Pearl from 227) would be good.
Watching the show about a girl who wanted to be a nun, went to a pole dancing class, got high and changed her mind. Stereotypical. They need to watch Good Times and try to mix comedy with a little social relevance/commentary. I think Tyler Perry Shows are better
