TV BIT: OMARION NAMED NEW AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW JUDGE
Omarion has signed on as the new judge on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew replacing Shane Sparks following his recent child molestation charges.
On joining the show, Omarion said:
“I’m so excited to be a judge on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. Dancing and performing is what I do and being a judge on this show will allow me to give creative feedback to the newest and hottest dancers on the rise.”
Omarion, who is reportedly professionally trained in tap, jazz, hip-hop and African dance, will make his debut with Lil Mama and JC Chasez on January 28 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Lil Mama needs to be replaced! She doesn’t even dance. Apparently all she does is go to Walgreens and put on 43 cent lipgloss. These dance shows are getting out of hand and becoming even worse than the reality shows.

THIS IS A GOOD LOOK FOR OMARION. He’s not doing that great on the charts as a solo artist but dance has always been his thing. This is a great addition to ABDC and I think the viewers will agree.

WTF?!!! Luckily, people watch for the dancers and not the judges because Mama Lil the One Hit Wonder should’ve NEVA been on there to begin with. She’s no choreographer and learned steps like everyone else. She’s too opionated which is why she thought it was okay to get on stage with Jay and Alicia. She’s ugly and wack and has a body like a little boy.

I don’t know if that makes sense, but it is funny how you have people make into the industry and they are successful. People admire them for what they can do and become, and then WHAM!!!! lawsuit, sex charges, arrests, tax ivasion, etc. It is really sad, but I can’t be sad for them.

next up they need to get rid of lil mama asap….aren’t there a couple well known dancers that are more qualified and famous….idk like Keke Palmer, that girl for the Cheetah Girls, Jamaica Craft(Ciara’s Choregrapher), Tanisha Scott(probably one of the most famous dancers/choregraphers), hell get anyone of Ciara/Beyonce/Britney Spears background dancers all them can dance they butts off, Or some girl that was on the show in the past!
ABDC amongst the other show is very creative when it comes to the dance moves and style.
I’m happy for Omarion, maybe this will help him reclaim a little bit of relevancy.
I occasionally watch this show on MTV. I’m glad they finally are getting a judge that can actually “DANCE”! If you’re going to judge a dance show, shouldn’t being able to dance be a qualification! I’m just saying…Lil Mama couldn’t dance her way out of a paper bag.

What? They could not afford Chris Brown? I am sure Omarion begged to be on this to promote his album. They need to replace Lil Papa with Ciara because she needs to learn from Omarion and start begging too to try to bring back her “career”. JC needs to be replaced too, he is not a dancer. I would say Justin Timberlake but I don’t think he is all that of a dancer either (but better than JC). How about Usher? He needs to promote himself and stop being featured on wannabe rappers songs and do a show like this and start over with his promotion too. Where is he?
Panel should be Usher, Mya or Ciara, and Chris Brown (or all four). Mya needs to promote herself too. I say she is a better dancer than Ciara because she does other styles besides popping her booty. If they MUST be diverse, add Justin Timberlake.

Congrats to Omarion. I hope the allegations are not true but if they are I hope justice is served. I like JC. I don’t watch the show often but lil’ mama gave some awesome feedback from performances.
