Now i’ll watch this. This show might be more moving then the other reality jump offs. i can feel the honesty in this. and its got the comedic factor which is always good in a reality show. Especial where you know there will be some heart touching moments.

Thats f*cked up that Fantasia is taking care of 4 grown people and 2 kids that ain’t hers. Plus it doesn’t help that she is uneducated. She made 2.6 million from touring and record sales.. But after buying a 1.2 million dollar house, and spending thousands of dollars every month on her family = Broke..
Fantasia could of brought a nice 350K dollar home, nice enough for her and her daughter. And had the rest of the money in the bank drawing interest. Fantasia made enough money so she wouldn’t have to worry about money for atleast 10 years, If she managed it correctly. If I can survive on 50k a year.. She could of did the same.. Why spend everything U got? Dead beat family, thats why…

Is it me, or does anyone else notice how VH1 is exploiting the lives of African-American people. I recall when VH1 used to be about ‘Pop up Video,’ ‘Behind the Music,’ as well as other shows that weren’t as degrading as the current show line ups.
Since Flavor Flav started the “I’ll film my life for a check from a group of people who think they know my kind,” every black celebrity that may be a “C” or “D” list celebrity have joined the band wagon.
Doesn’t anyone noticed that they are running a slave field, but the African-American people aren’t shackled and chained nor are they picking cotton.
I’m telling you all, the fat cats in the business suits (who happen to be white men) are really running and controlling black people. There are a few people who are acceptions, but again, very far and few between.
Same goes with Hip-hop music.

I can’t understand how her almost 30 year old brother is sponging off of her! I can’t understand how she is supporting her whole family! I do understand her wanting to help her family out, but Fantasia MUST put her foot down or she’s going to flush everything she worked for down the drain. If she allows people to keep living off of her, there soon won’t be anything left for her daughter and herself. The music business is fickle, she needs to be thinking about the long term and stashing every dime she can. That’s something that applies to us all, nothing is gauranteed, you have to save even when it seems like a time of plenty. Real talk, Teenie would be out and every person in the house with exception of her mother and her daughter would need to be working and contributing or they would need to be leaving – pronto!

I met her a few years back and she is a very humble person. I think she is extremely talent and I actually like the show thus far. She’s trying to get her life in order. As far as her dating married man (we don’t know the history between them). If he isn’t concern then why should we? It takes two to tango and it’s pretty obvious she looks happy. This is exactly Keyshia Cole’s show however I must admit Fantasia has more of a positive vibe and personality to her so that is her advantage. I honestly hate her talking voice and when she screams it irritates me but for the most part her singing voice without the screaming is not bad. She just needs to lay off the Patti Labelle moments.
They complain about Teeny but why is she supporting her eldest brother and her mother too? Her mother can work too, she looks young.
