She has killed it on stage plenty of times over the past few months, yet you fail to post those performances. Im actually heartbroken because Whitney was my idol back in the day. She was an artist who didn’t need to dance to be entertaining all she need was a band and a microphone, but when she took that water break to hit them horrible notes just really broke my heart its a shame really..
If that clip represents her performance for the whole show, I would have been mad too. Has she had a relapse? Whitney, don’t go back to the drugs and blow your career!

how can you judge a show by one performance? She has been killing it since the tour started, go check the youtube clips. It is a shame that she has been getting great reviews for awhile, but everyone focuses on the one off night? i guess they do love to build u up just to bring you down.
I haven’t seen the video yet, but I almost don’t want to from everyone’s responses. My thing is she had one of the BEST voices of all time if not the BEST and what did she do with her GOD given talent?? Blow it literally on smoking cigarettes and abusing drugs. I am not judging her and we all fall short BUT with a voice like she had. You could’ve PAID me money to start using drugs let alone give Bobby Brown the time of day. I feel like you need to perform for the present and not based upon the past. If you can’t sing in present day than you don’t need to be on stage. I feel like artists who live in the past and can’t get up on stage and sing as of today don’t need to be performing.

Now we all love us some Whitney Houston, but unfortunately her years of drug abuse have obviously taken a toll on a national treasure, her voice. No wonder she told Oprah that she didn’t want to tour or do a record anymore, she knew that she had smoked and snorted her gift, voice, away. Its sad that of all the videos I seen of her tour where she was doing good, everyone nows wants to look at the one bad night. Despite the fact that she had a bad COLD and was told not to perform, she did anyway. My only complaint is that I wished that Clive Davis would have given Whitney more time for her voice to heal before she was thrown on tour where she will have her good and bad days.

You cannot have bad days on tour. That is why artists have insurance and postpone dates. She put out an album and overseas tour to pay her mortgage but international fans use the same technology we do in the states and put artists on blast when they cannot perform. Whitney should not doing shows like that. She is a legend and should only perform when she is ready to give it her all on stage. She is a talented singer, has major stage presence, and it is not good to see her struggling on stage and looking “out of it” while trying to sing. Yes, there are better clips of her performances on tour but the number of bad ones outweigh the good performances so that does not matter.
Just face it, Whitney gave up her God given talent, everything good is from above, to drugs and a man. Now, she may never get her voice back and should just leave it alone and try developing new talent that could be the new Whitney. There is an undiscovered “Whitney” out there, someone who still can sing w/out all those acrobatics to make it sound like they can sing. My ears miss true talent like Whitney and Mariah back in the day, no one comes close to them these days. Yeah, J hud, but she has given into acrobatics too and its just boring to hear a great voice fall for that. Goes to show you can lose what you dont take care of. No, they should not get a refund because its not like they did not hear her sing before now and realize she is not full Whitney, so be realistic, and accept what she has to offer now.
