@27 So the number of grammys makes you legendary? Um the greatest entertainer of all time got 18. Legendary Luther vandross did not win that many. In recent years Grammys have been handing awards to who’s hot right now compared to true artists. Hence why someone like Taylor Swift would win album of the year. She had a great year but come on.

In MY opinion India.Arie should have won best R&B album. Beyonce’s awards were because of one song…ok two; but that’s it. India’s entire album was great! In MY opinion Lady Ga Ga is way overrated. She’s all about the gimmick which distracts people from the real issue of talent. I would like to see her without the distractions and then see what kind of artist she really is.
Taylor Swift deserved the awards that she won. The girl writes all of her own songs for God’s sake…that in itself is an accomplishment and she’s barely 20 yrs old! She and every other artist out there work just as hard as Beyonce to do what they do. Don’t get sweat filled, gyrating and weave throwing performances mixed up with doing harder work. A performance with a mic and a guitar, a piano, or just vocals and a band calls for just as much work as performing dance routines.
Everyone likes who they like that’s just how it is; but you don’t have to tear down someone else’s accomplishments to be a stan for your own artist. That’s just plain silly and very immature!
