It’s Meagan Good. The 28 year-old was spotted heading to Club Voyeur in Hollywood with her bodyguard. According to her IMDB, she actually has an upcoming movie this year entitled, “Video Girl”.

What a waste of a career. This girl has serious potential but instead of working hard to get the big parts, she’s all about the clubs. Sad.
Jeez people. She IS an actress. It’s been tough for most folks to find work lately. That’s why so many have moved over to TV roles (Regina King, Gabrielle Union, etc). Meagan has had some great roles and some not so great roles, but she’s still an actress. In between parts, she has to stay out there to keep her name in folks’ mind and coming out of their mouths. So I guess that’s why she’s always out at every social event. I think it’s just think that’s an entertainment industry standard.

She’s been acting for a minute now, and I have yet to see her get a lead role in anything. She’s always somebody’s girl or best friend. Step up your game Meagan. The last movie I saw her in was “The Unborn”, where the played the main characters best friend…and of course she was killed.

Wow, CL. Really? She’s a socialite just because she goes out? She lives in LA. That’s what happens, people go out. Meagan averages about 3 projects a year with at least one being a film, so that definitely qualifies her as actor. And although I know they’re two different people, Nia Long hasn’t done a feature since 2008 but I bet you wouldn’t think of discounting her as an actor. Let’s show the young people some respect, because we grind and face the same obstacles that the older generation does. And for the homie who said she needs to step her game up. You may think she’s not on point just because she commonly plays the bestfriend, but unfortunately supporting roles are the majority of what’s written for African Americans, male or female. The fact that she’s even getting those roles is a hustle and a testament to how much she loves acting because she’s definitely proven herself beyond that. Imagine if you’ve proven you know how to ride a bike, but somebody keeps making you ride with training wheels. It would be frustrating… This girl’s got chops, just check out “Eve’s Bayou” or “Brick”. And on one last note, there’s over 200,000 actors in LA and even if 10% of those were black, think about how many of us you actually see and then think about how many you actually know. She may party, but she definitely works. And for most of us it’s a struggle to work. So don’t be so quick to take away her title.
