Why it seems like everyone is suprised over is stardom and that he blew up – that’s the way of the Rap game- ( not that I’m this die-hard fan or even a fan at all)- look at 50, shit he took down a whole Hip Hop empire (imo) with his first album (granted there were some outside events that were speculated to have transpired between Murder Inc and 50 and his crew…look at Eminem- he just came from nowhere (again, m.o.) and built a rap career ( 3rd times a charm, when the rap game wasn’t expecting a white rapper to spit venom)… so of course he has help to blow-up-tuate… lol….this chile Drake (my country twang) just did what he did (or y’all opinion, what he was “born” “sent” “set up”, or “designed” to do). ….that’s why I stick my young ass to R&B, neo soul, “conscious” rap and about to be to blues (because the ol’ heads say, “the blues” is alright- and I can’t even stand it)
