Monica finally reveals the album cover for her hotly anticipated sixth studio album, Still Standing.
The new album is led by the Missy Elliott-produced, “Everything To Me,” which samples from Deniece Williams’ classic, “Silly.” Above is the full version of the single, completed with bridge. Monica also shot the video this week in Los Angeles.
The album is set to hit stores March 23rd via J. Records.

This pic is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. This picture definately caught my attention. Very angelic photo of her. And “Everything To Me” is a breath of fresh air. Sounds nothing like the gimicks on the radio today which is why she is #31 on the R&B charts after ONLY TWO WEEKS. Not to mention the single premiered 24 hours ago on iTunes & she’s already #4 on the R&B sales for iTunes. Timeless music like this is what we need. She is coming back with a vengance. Full force…

The album cover is beautiful. Monica looks beautiful. The single is completely shitty. I agree with the above posters, if Monica was gonna do a ballad then it should have been a powerful, attention grabbing song. This single.. is just so blah and boring. The joint she had with Keyshia is a million times better than this mess. I think Monica is gonna get massive pushbacks.. and then.. the album will flop.

Monica has and will always be an amazing vocalist. I am looking forward to this album because she is actually doing what a singer should always do and that is focus on vocals and the content of the music being produced. She also looks refreshing in the cover.

The album cover is beautiful and it defines beauty on all levels tatts and all ( theres no exact definition of beauty). Monica first single choice is grabbing the attention of the core fanbase who rode with her from the beggining of her career. She is connecting with her fanbase and delivering great, quality, heartfelt music. I personally can’t wait untill the album drops I been a fan/supportor of Monica since the beginning, I NOW I can honestly say this is an ARRIVAL back into the game and introducing you to real R&B TEAM MO 2010.

Everything To Me is the type of music that Aretha, Stevie, Gladys Knight, Denise William, Marvin Gaye and co paved the way for aritst like Monica to just come out and SANG but still be relevant..
I understand music is ever changing but it doesn’t mean classic R&B and Soul should be flushed away and just classed as old skool.
Artist like Monica, Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, Melaine Fiona etc, have to stay true to their skillz set vocally and continue the legacy & help the up & coming strong vocalist’s like Karina Pasian, Tiffany Evans etc have their slot without feeling they have to wash down their vocals or sounds to fit in.
There is no other song out there right now that sounds like this, which makes it a credible candidate to impact the POP charts as a soul record.
