This is not just a sampled loop it’s damn near the whole Silly track.It’s like cutting up the track of My Cherie Amor and writing some whack ass lyrics over it with a bunch of gospel riffs. Like I said I love Monice and will always be a fan but this is whack. If the lyrics had legs they would have been able to do a new track for it.

Wow people using samples on a song and writing new lyrics over a track is 2 different things all you have to do is ask the publisher of this song. You have to give full credit to the original writer because their using the original track not just a sample. This is an edited version of the original track/arrangement not just a sample. I agree with DAE Monice needs more commercially relevent material for todays market. She’s still one of my favorite singers they just need to come up with bette material.
