    sounds like “many moons”

Okay, I like this song I listened to it 4x for the meaning… so I dig it b/c I can understand how what it feels like to struggle however I don’t think it’s better once your dead.. I think you should be able to find peace on earth as long as you are true to yourself and with God.

  3. Sasha

it feels ripped from gnarles barkley in a bad way

  4. Mister.bee

I love Janelle. She’s so cute, and
    talented. Janelle, you better work.

  5. bnewprod

This does sound like a continuation from the the EP but nonetheless more epic. The instrumentation on both this and Tight Rope (them horns at the end) make this sound epic joe. Janelle is beastly I must say. Great music.

I am loving her new stuff!

  7. Not in the Mood for Grammar

Haven’t heard the song yet but I used to be a fan of hers till she signed to BadBoy. I just don’t get why any artist in this day and age- an era where it is incredibly hard to get into the industry and succeed, why would she sign to the worst ever label? And her fans even told her not to but she refused to listen. I can’t be bothered with an artist like that. She seems like a nice person and is really talented, but that was a silly silly move.

  8. Tajma

I can not wait for her full length album because I have all of her other music and it is thought provoking and meaningful not to mention she has a great voice.

First, Janelle Monae is such a beautiful lady!

Secondly, I agree with @MRS. SK8BOARD P, this is nearly the same exact beat to many moons.

But I like the song..she can really sing. I hate seeing underrated artist. Why does it seem like the artist that should be getting praise receive nothing, yet the one’s that don’t are being drooled over. I don’t get it.

  10. Topman

Why the hell are all of her songs the same tempo?

  11. Ms.Tasha

This song makes me cry. It is so beautiful and it’s like she’s really singing from her heart. I mean, it makes me want to dance too — don’t get me wrong. But it really touches a nerve when she says some of the things she says in it!

    KEEP ON Miss Monae!!!

    Don’t let anybody change you!

    (i already know you won’t)

SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND I LIKE THE MESSAGE OF THE SONG

  14. Trippy

“not in the mood for grammar” if you read the text that is under the song it clearly reads that she is releasing it through Wondaland/Atlantic there is nothing there that’s that says Bad Boy. So obviously she isn’t signed under that label anymore!
