I like it and I like her but the whole 60′s sound thing has been SO done. I guess that’s the only sound that’s not dance/pop that’s inspiring young artist these days.

Wow! I’m shocked that I really REALLY loved this track. I usually hate Janelle Monae’s style, but I was pleasantly surprised. I think I’ll download this track.

I love the song! Now she should go snatch her hairs back from Rihanna before people start acting like Janelle stole it from her.

Is she still signed to Bad Boy? If so, that’s unfortunate.

    WHY?

why did you all put a free download link? brian, that is not cool. how will the w.a.s. ever make any money if you put a free download right from the beginning. i love this song and its being passed around like candy. when it actually does come out on itunes, not as many people will buy it because they already have it

I love the song! However, I’m a little PO’ed at ConcreteLoop’s interstitial ads popping up in the middle of me reading, viewing, or listening to a post. There has to be a better way to get the advertisements noticed.

My “can’t wait till summer song”. Janelle sounds like her voice matured a lot. Gotta add this to the iPod so i can “Tip on the Tightrope”

Janelle Monae is in a category of her own! She never ceases to amaze me and I am glad she is back on the music scene in a major way! Her vocals are insane and her music is simply incredible! I hope she gets the recognition she truly deserves! JM, you rock!
