His 1st two albums was nice…this one gonna be the best…even though The Dream cant sing live, he better than most artist these days.

I personally love the song, but that’s because I’m a huge fan of The-Dream’s music and his records just like this. Although I love it, it’s nothing really new or refreshing for him. I’m not sure if he just wants to stay in his lane, or to afraid to risk a change. I don’t think he’ll see an album with Kanye if he doesn’t try a new sound though.

I had high hopes but this sounds like a reject off his first album. I’m a fan of his writing and production but he needs to step up his shit. If I wanted to hear a song like this I would just listen to his 1st album.

He seems to do better work when he’s writing for other people but stays talkin bout the same old stuff on his own.

I like The Dream’s music and he usually comes out with solid material (loved the last two albums) but this sounds like watered down, uninspired material. The lyrics even seem like he didn’t put much thought into them either. Seems like this song was something picked up accidentally from the cutting room floor. If this is what he is releasing now then his sound hasn’t evolved at all and seems like he is going backwards. I say push the album back and put more effort into it because this will not cut it for me.

He never does what keeps him alive is his producer who always makes a jamming beat… Some producers can make an album… Like Tim he could never rap but always had dope beats. Hott Song love the dream, He’s different and very versatile I respect his writing and his music. the song grows into a hit much like most of his music because when the song began I was like hmmmmmmmm….. then it gradually got better and turned out to be pretty nice !!

Granted, this sounds like everything else he’s put out, but I like his sound, so Im good. Theres a comfort in knowing that his sound remains consistent. He knows his lane. Some folx be coming outta left field with stuff they KNOW dont work for em. Same goes for Musiq Soul Child… he doesnt stray from the formula… nor is he a great singer.. .but if you like what he do.. .rock with it.

With The Dream, it’s either a hit or a miss and this is a miss! His lyrics suck so bad! They sound like they were written in 5 minutes and his singing voice is odd! It’s all high, sounds too sweet for a MAN! I do like some of his songs… only because of the beats and the delivery of his voice/lyrics, but he’s nothing but a studio/computerized artist. What a shame. Where’s the real talent?
