SPOTTED: JAY-Z AT THE AIRPORT IN LONDON

Jay-Z was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport from New York on Monday (February 15). The star is scheduled to perform at The Annual Brit Awards where is he nominated for a few awards.

Atlanta native Nivea is gearing up to release a new album within the next couple of months, and here’s her new promo single, “Love Hurts.”

The new album is tentatively titled, Purple Heart and will be Nivea’s latest release since 2006′s Animalistic, which was only released in Japan.

BLACK HISTORY THROWBACKS: SAM COOKE PROMOS FROM THE SIXTIES

♫ Sam Cooke – A Change is Gonna Come

Known for his songs “You Send Me” and “A Change is Gonna Come”, this soulful singer was the first African American artist to reach #1 on both the R&B and the pop charts.

A lot of people don’t know this, but Sam was also one of the first black artists to own his own music publishing and record label, where he wrote songs for Aretha Franklin & Otis Redding. However, his groundbreaking career was cut short in 1964 when he was gunned down at a motel (more info) at the age of 32.
