At her Heat launch party Tuesday night, Beyonce spoke on her break in protocol during her Grammy speech to show a little PDA toward her husband, Jay-Z: “I was so happy; I could have said anything. That’s why I ran off the stage.”
Beyonce said Jay’s face was the first she saw, but she quickly realized her error, thinking “What did I just do?!” In a private moment later, though, Jay-Z told his wife of her historical night, “You have six Grammys and you smell good” since she was wearing Heat, of course, which has already become Macy’s No. 1 fragrance without advertising and potentially No. 1 for the year.
