    MONIQUE DESERVES IT AS WELL AS EVERYONE WHO WAS APART OF THAT PROJECT

  5. LULU

    Yeeeeeeeeeeah! Mo’Nique is shoe-in for her award, not so sure about Gabby going up against Sandra Bullock for Blind Side and Lee Daniels against James Cameron for Avatar, as well as Best Picture but I’m so happy they got recognized!

  6. Intrigue216

    I’m glad they at least got nominated. I think the best shot at getting an Oscar for the movie is Mo’nique, maybe. They are up against some great movies. Great job for them nonetheless!

  7. Shellboogie

    Mo’nique this is your time in history and that Oscar is yours.

    CONGRATULATIONS, you had a stellar performance in “Precious”.

    To god be the glory, she will win. You go girl!!!!!!

  11. REAL TALK- THE REAL ONE

    The whole cast and crew of Precious is on a roll right now , and all of the success that they are experiencing is phenomenal and extraordinary

    I think Monique will win for best supporting actress. I wonder if we will see a black best actress academy award winner, again? Hmm. I just hope she shaves her legs this occasion

  13. Leo

    I wonder what Judah has to say about the anointing that took place during Whitney’s tribute at the BET honors.

  14. JUDAH

    @Leo

    I didn’t see it. I watch BET as little as possible. What I will say is that Mo’Nique is MK-ULTRA and the movie had many MK-ULTRA themes. The promotional poster for the film even depicted Gabrielle Sidibe’s character with butterfly wings. Lee Daniels is definitely a handler, based on how he treated Mariah Carey at that ceremony a few weeks ago where she was drunken while accepting her “award”.

    @ Judah

    Go on Youtube and look up Kim Burrell singing “I Believe in You and Me” at the Bet Honors.
    You can not tell me the Spirit of the Lord was not present in that room. It was a completely different feel from the Grammys.

    Music was dead but now it’s FREE!

  16. Leo

    @ Judah

    It was a genuine and Spirit filled performance.

    Whitney wants to be freed from her spiritual bondage, so badly…
    –that woman Loves the Lord.

  17. tlo

    I am so excited, they both deserve it. Monique played the hell out of that part and so did Gabby!! Go yall:) Im pissed though that Zoe Saldana did not get an oscar nod for Avitar, that movie wouldn’t of been shit without her……..

  18. JUDAH

    @Leo

    Sis, no disrespect lmao, but that nonsense that you had me view is the exact reason why I don’t watch Buffoon Entertainment Television. Actually, I CAN tell you that the “Spirit of the Lord” was not in that room, because it wasn’t. All I saw was Whitney Houston jumping around like a crackhead looking for some rock, and an overweight woman in an overtight dress, over-singing a song. Show me in the scriptures where the “Spirit of the Lord” looked anything like that? The Spirit of the Lord is the spirit of knowledge. This is why when the apostles were given the spirit, they had knowledge of all things, even languages (Acts 2:1-4, I John 2:20, etc.). What you and these churches call the “spirit of the Lord” is the orgiastic spirit of revelry of the god Bacchus. This is why the only people in these churches are black women and h*mosexuals.

  19. lalalove

    Congrats to them all!

  20. Leo

    @ Judah

    Whitney doesn’t attend a “church” per say…She spoke candidly with Wendy Williams in an interview, proclaiming that “church” is in her heart; that she spends time reviewing scriptures with a prayer partner, even during the “crack days”…Whitney has been on the path of digesting God’s knowledge, truth, and love. Couldn’t Bet Honors be seen as Whitney and Kim rejoicing in their LOVE of God and each other. Does everything have to be negative?

    Whitney appears to be one of few celebs reaching out to God (i.e. her “I Look to You” video where she spends the whole video looking up at the “light” above with a sense of hope in her eyes—she clearly made the decisions regarding how her video would look).

    In fact, I think her career was ruined because she never fully let go of the Lord (i.e. doing films like the “Preacher’s Wife” and always thanking Him at award shows, etc..)…they tried that mind control business on her with Bobby Brown, but I think she has successfully overcome the demon that is Show Business. Bet Honors was a testament to Whitney’s strength, endurance, and LOVE for the Most High.

  21. nkr

    I totally want the Frog and the Princess to WIN! I really liked it.. Precious DESERVES to win as well.

  22. I'm Still Standing

    I just saw the BET Honors with Kim Burrell singing to Whitney. If it’s not ova til the fat lady sings, it’s a wrap!!! Cause she killed it! That thick sista delivered. Voice like no other. Judah, just out of curiosity, is there any hollywood celebrity that you like, that isn’t under demonic control?

  23. Kat

    @Judah

    Why do you come to this site? You seem to spend an awful lot of time on this (I’m sure in your opinion) useless celebrity website. Shouldn’t you be off enlightening the world about what you say you know. I bet it sucks to be you. You don’t seem to have a real peace about you. Just from reading the things that you write, it seems that you are in some type of bondage yourself. Can’t you just see a tree as a tree that God made without it being some sort of sign or having some deeper meaning than a tree? You could probably find some deep meaning in the way that my dog barks. Maybe he’s a being used by the evil powers that are trying to take over my husband and me. I know that evil is out there and it seeks to do harm to the people of God. I know the devil is busy but sometimes it’s just a tree….
    By the way, before some smart aleck says something; the tree reference could be anything.

  24. Shit

    It will be a repeat of the Golden Globes, Monique will will, Gabby Wont.

  25. Kat

    Congratulations to all the hardworking nominees!
