So the highly-anticipated remake video for “We Are The World” (featuring a host of celebrities) was released on Friday and let’s just say it left a lot to be desired.
While I understand that they did it for a great cause (relief efforts for the people of Haiti), it just doesn’t seem as heartfelt or sincere as the original. What did you think of it?

Who saw Michael’s nephews (Jermaine’s sons) in there? They were apart of that group 3T. They have grown up so much but STILL look the same! I cried when I watched this video. It touched me to see everyone unifying to help Haiti.

Ok….People your not getting the point. When they made the original….They wanted to get artist who have large followings… if you do your research all the artist whether you KNOW who they are or not.. They have large followings not just in one genera but in many…..If you studied the Original.. the split between Janet and Micheal was just like the one they did in the original with him and Dianna Ross….This was not made to please one group of people but many across nations. You people are thinking inside the box…..this was so far beyond who sung it …but the meaning and purpose behind it. They rapped in it because guess what this generation loves Rap….Tpain was in it cus guess what ppl love tpain and lil Wayne.. They auto tune because that is what they are known for. also they picked certain voices to match a certain similarity of the original version. this was not just fly by night. And for all you ppl who are wonder where beyonce is ….well her hubby was not a fan of this being remade any way… so there is ur answer….Plus some artist have other schedules to made and probably just couldnt wrap theirs around this….does not mean that they care less……they prob found other ways to help…..so please stop with all the hate and lets focus on the purpose and objective of this.
