Sada is a good sport to do that skit with wierd Wanda. Sada and Whitney were on top of the world back in the 80s &90s. I’m glad they are both back from abuses and more focused. It’s frunny how Wanda pronounces her name “Shardae”. And, it was funny when Sada said, “he’s from Harlem”…does that make it a black history month thang? I liked the way she worked with that “mule”.

Sade is Like no other!! That skit was funny too. She still looks sooo damn good too. Ladies please take note on how to Keep it sexy when you get older.

Artists please take heed on how to stay true to music and especially one’s self. Sade has never changed her Artistry and music for anything….. not money nor fame and that’s how you make real passionate music worth listening to and buying.

I’m not a huge Sade fan, I like some of her songs, but I am not feeling anything for her album this time around.

Sade is the absolute greatest of all time. Ever. They are in a league of their own (the band) Sweetback is AWESOME.. their musical arrangements are Genius and Sade’s writing is so original and unique. They are from another planet….

OMG! I have been listening to Sade since Smooth Operator and NEVER heard her speak!!!! She has a wonderful speaking voice. And yes, I almost passed out when she started singing.

ACTUALLY Sade said in an interview in the 80’s that in the US people pronounce her name SHAR-DAY because her english accent makes it sound like an “r” is added. However she said its really pronounced “Sha-Deh” with an african accent. Also Epic added “pronounced ‘Shar-Day” so people would turn the s sound into an sh sound when saying her name. Maybe it would help to pronounce it like “Shah” of Iran.

Meat actually the way Wanda said Sade is correct. That is the way Sade says her group’s name all the time. Her skit was ok but it would have been nice if she performed at Wanda’s show to help her ratings. I knew Wanda had a show but have not watched it because I do not know what time it comes on.

How can I say this: Sade is musical Zen. She and the band. Timeless, reclusive, poignant and soothing.

But she, the singer Sade, is royalty. To use one of her song titles, it as if God gave her pearl skin. She hasn’t so much as aged in a decade, but rather she’s maintained.

Great to see her softer side, even if Wanda Sykes’ jester act was a bit pathetic. As always J. Dakar is the one to continuously bring us the alternative to hot-for-the-second mainstream music.
