If Alicia sat down and did this song from the piano then people would be saying she should have gotten up and walked or something. While I don’t love the song it is fun and upbeat so the dancing was light and upbeat. She didn’t try to do any serious choreography so it was cool. Whether it works or not an artist should try different things sometimes, so kudos to her for switching it up a bit. No need to compare the two they are different talents who shine in their own way. Alicia looked like herself and Beyonce looked like herself.

Also I ‘m glad to see Jermaine Paul get some shine he has a great voice!!! I hope his music gets received the way it should even though the industry is fickle these days.

Alicia Keys concert was “EPIC”. Not just because both Beyonce and Jay-Z were there, but because she is just a real, real musician and vocalist with mad skills.

Some people just have so much ugliness and jealousy inside of them. I happen to think Alicia is a very talented beautiful young lady, so what if she can’t dance. It is things I might think, but why say them, better to keep quiet than open your mouth and look like a fool.

Concert was AWESOME! Everyone was soooo surprised when Beyonce came out. I wished they had sang the whole song though. When she sang Empire state of mind, people went crazy when Jay came out. It was awesome. They sang the entire song. And the energy in the room was indescribable. Swiss beats came out before Jay did, but some people didn’t even know who he was, LOL. I guess Jay wasn’t kidding when he said he might where black 4 years straight.

Wow! As I read some of these comments, I see how miserable most people are in their own personal lives. All this speculation about people we don’t really know. People have tried to pin these two artists against each other. But it’s clear that they at the least, have a mutual respect for each other. Don’t be jealous of these people’s success. I know, it is hard sometimes to look at celebs living this “larger than life” lifestyle, when we all have our regular jobs and problems.
