Guess who was spotted leaving a workout session with his personal trainer in West Hollywood earlier this week? Hint: His girlfriend reportedly got him addicted to working out and going to the gym.
It’s rapper turned actor Common. He was spotted making his way out of a private personal trainer session on Monday in Cali. His girlfriend, tennis champion Serena Williams, is said to have gotten him hooked on working on his body. That’s never a bad thing.

If she didn’t have those muscles she wouldn’t be a legendary Tennis Player. You wouldn’t know her name. I don’t get people talking about her muscles like she just chooses to be muscular for muscle sake LOL. It’s clear that the muscles are put to good use, after all both her and Serena can serve the ball at 120mph. You try doing that without the requisite strength training and you’ll throw your arm out of socket, not to mention that your serve may very well be less than 50mph IF YOU’RE LUCKY.
Pay respect to black women who pave the way for other black women, stop the hate. She may not be a ‘Slim Red Chick’ but 1. That’s only a few peoples measure of beauty. And 2) I guarantee in the grand scheme of it all, she means much more to black history and progression than any ‘slim red chick’ you can conjure up.

They have plenty of female tennis players who have muscles and look way more feminine than she does. for example: Maria sharapova , Anna kournikova, and Ana Ivanovic are nice athletic female tennis players but don’t look like men.

Secondly, not only do they all have different bodies and different game styles which require different levels of strength etc but using those three to back up your claims is just stupid. Serena has won 25 Grand Slams, 54 Titles, 2 Olympic Gold Medals, $30m in prizemoney and about 5 times that with endorsments, and has been number one for… well i’ve lost count… This compared with those other two who, bar Sharapova’s 3 slams, have won barely anything.
Go and look at her Sister Venus and Justine Henin, who are the second and third greatest players of the last 13 or so years behind Serena, they were both stick thin and have bulked up too. They’re tennis champions, it isn’t about winning not looking good. And to me Serena (and Venus too) can still look goddamn sexy when they want to, so stop your foolishness!

You must not be a tennis fan/follower, because if you were, you wouldn’t dare compare those girls to Serena; they’re not even on her level and most likely will never be. They may not look like men (Serena doesn’t look like one either) but they sure haven’t accomplished even a quarter of what she has.
Those muscles aid her in being successful at what she does; that’s like calling Lebron James a freak because he’s so tall! These type of things make all that they do possible! Serena is a strong, beautiful, black woman and shouldn’t be looked down on just because she isn’t a skinny-mini.

I use to think the same thing about Serena muscles being to big until I saw Serena in person. TV does her no justice. I promise you the girl is banging. Nice body and all but TV adds another 10 to 15 lbs to her making her look extra thick and muscular. second….she may be number one…but Justine Henin has a more “feminine” body and is a current player that has more wins and a better win lost ratio than Serena…in that regard…she is number 1 i believe.She also JUST came out of retirement after two years(which means she would of had even more wins) and in the very first tourney she entered she made it to the finals…losing to Serena….
Women’s tennis changes every year…there is often a new number one every season…But During Henin’s era that number 1 rarely changed….
