On Wednesday night via her official website, Erykah Badu unveiled the album cover for her latest project New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh. The artwork was designed by EMEK (who designed her last cover).
She also leaked a new song off of the album entitled, Strawberry Incense (produced by Madlib). The new album is in stores on March 30th.

Erykah has always been lost and out there. Her screws are definitely loose. My brother brought me to her concert because his he got them as a gift and I swear this woman was high and on another galaxy as she put it. She was erratic and doing too much ie humping an exercise ball and crawling on the floor for an entire number. All of her worshippers knew every single song of hers, even the material that was not released. They were all drugged up and dreaded up people who have not showered in days or smelled of incense and marijuana. They even chanted her name for 30 minutes because she took an hour to come out to her own show.
Although, I was clearly in a twilight zone and what appeared to be a cult, Erykah can sing live and hits very high notes.

@Jack It has nothing to do with being in touch with her “womb” she clearly practice buddism(sp?). It teach them to utilize chakras to channel energy and give off “electrical energy” in which she claims she have while menstrating that was turning off lights in her house . In all my 28 years I have never turned off a light or anything of that nature and Im very in tune with my body bruh. She’s a nutcase but her voice is beautiful non theless.

I c fine artist EMEK did the artwork. Its very abstract but i c a big story in the work. One of the head/brain is about politics and the other is about emotion. Take note the person on the top of head/brain. WOW. DEEP. A freeing the mind story ~ so the name is very appropriate i think. Wow. This soul sister is gonna give a good food 4 thought album with enuff meat n backbone in it. Yep. Hope she dont disappoint n she brings it across in a way everyone can understand and appeciate. U can be sure it wont be parody. She is too conscious 4 that. Im anticipating it.

I love her earthy nature! I can see where she is going with this, and I love it! Real music is coming back, because there is a such thing as real music! I guess R&B has that feeling of depth only so many people know!
I am a better woman because of the lessons I have learned from Erykah (and Lauryn’s and Mystics) music. I am going to buy this album. I buy all of her albums its like she grows with me. At one point in my life i was really afro centric then I became really into hip hop and then into politics its crazy how much I relate to her.
