Although “Fire Bomb” is the best track on Rated R its not gonna appeal to the “masses.” So “Photographs” is next, it has gobal appeal to it and is somewhat like “Take A Bow” in my opinion which was a number one hit so it only makes sense to release that next..& “Rude Boy” is Rihanna’s third single off Rated R correction Brian and this is her sixth number one as well.

personally I like Photographs as a single (my personal fave on the album besides Stupid In Love) but Fire Bomb is good as well…

I agree Brian…”Fire Bomb” would be a great next single choice but for some reason I think RiRi and Def Jam are gonna stick to more up-beat singles for a while because doing up-tempos works for her. Her biggest hits have mainly been dance cuts. I think if they decide to relase a fourth single it’ll be “Photographs” just because of it’s Black Eyed Peas infulence. Otherwise they may just go forth with a whole new album with the first single out by mid-summer depending on the sales of ‘Rated R’ within the next month or so. I think sales will pick up a bit now that she a no. 1 hit. But we’ll see…I hope the album gets it due and releases more singles because it really is a great album.

Firebomb is going to be the single for the American market. It has that safe generic hit feel that Americans like. Photographs would be a good single, as far as Im concerned it’s a better song. But they’ll probably push that one overseas, it is an international song.

Americans aren’t really apart of that “global” market that your talking about. Artists usually release one single for the US and another single for the rest of the world. They keep you guys in a box in terms of what they want you to listen to. Everything that makes it big here sounds the same and is predictable.

I think they need to release “Cold Case Love” as the final single from Rated R, and then move on to the next project. I hate when they do re-releases. Who want’s to buy the record over for 3 or four new songs, when you can just get them single on Itunes or the internet. NOBODY.

I also think “Fire Bomb” would be a good last single, but I think “Cold Case Love” pretty much sums up her album and what she was going through during the whole “incident”.

People are such robots that they will buy and support anything.

My question is who buys these albums? Rude boy is not all that and def not a masterpiece for it to be praised.

As far as Rihanna goes, I think it was obvious that ‘Rude Boy” would be more successful than all of her other hits because it is classic Rihanna, a breath of fresh air from her “dark place.” As far as rereleasing the album, I think it would be better for her to just go ahead and start fresh. It made more sense when she rereleased GOOD GIRL GONE BAD, because that album was already successful on it’s own, and the 2nd version of it just capitalized on it. It don’t matter how many units RATED R has “shipped to date,” it IS her least successful album since her first-chart and popularity wise. It took 4 singles to get back to number one. Back in 2008, anything she released turned number one. It is time to get back to the Rihanna we knew before the setback.

Rude Boy had me hooked during my first listen. I remember listening this and was wondering why isnt this a single. I was so happy when she finally brought it out. Her other singles for this album to me were kind of lack luster.
