The song is dope. It’s not Kelly’s song though, it was supposed to be Teyana Taylor’s but oh well. Kelly sounds great on it. It doesn’t sound finished because it isn’t, Kelly didn’t keep this for her album and Teyana bought it. Someone from the producers camp leaked Kelly’s vocals. Teyanna threw a bitchfit and ‘quit’ music! HA HA HA HA HA! Vocally Kelly sounds great. I am interested in hearing what she is coming out with.

I’m hoping Kelly was being sincere on Twitter last night when she said that “Smooches” isn’t the way her record has evolved since she recorded it. I agree with #16, this is not singing, it is studio trickery. Layered studio vocals like this, will make the song impossible to sing live. Kelly.has a good voice, and this kind of sound should be beneath her. But I guess she has to fit in somewhere.
