Former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland gives us a taste of what’s to come on this upcoming third studio album, which fans have been anticipating.
The new track, “Smooches” is a buzz single, produced by Bangladesh, who is responsible for creating the hits “Diva,” and “Video Phone” for Beyonce, as well as Lil’ Wayne’s smash, “A Milli.”
The new sound for Kelly is exciting. Let’s hope that this track can build enough buzz and that her new situation with label and management will allow her to spread her wings on this new project. She’s been in the studio with David Guetta, Sean Garrett, as well as hitmaker, Rico Love. No word on a solid release date.

i wasnt really checking for teyana until i heard her singing on her youtube page. the girl can blow. who knew? so what shes a lil boyish or the sluttiest (some of your favorite artists look that way). the girl is doing her own thing and being HER.
with that said, this song sounds more like itd be good for her voice and playful as well-which seems to be her style.
and im trying to figure out whats funny about her being upset enough to feel like she wants to just go pursue another dream.
the industry is catty and downright dirty at times. they are notorious for killing dreams and giving people who shouldnt have one more than a chance while letting musical geniuses sit on the sidelines.
its a shame how they do artists all because so many people have become drones and are ready to fill their heads with garbage!!!
and this is nothing against kelly. shes cool and i loved her last album. someone being plastered all over doesnt automatically make their album a hit with me. she did her thing and im happy her and others like her can go to europe to do what they love for people who ACTUALLY like MUSIC.
i would like to think she wouldnt have leaked that knowingly if she knew ol girl was going to drop that as her single.

Kelly you might consider going to college. Get a double degree – The Music Industry and Business Administration.
Then come back with your beautiful voice and run your own company and your music productions. Work with people who will match their music styles to your abilities.

I really want kelly to succeed. I think she is very talented and having had years of experience from performing with DC under her belt, she should not let her talent go to waste. The smart thing to do, (something she should have done after leaving DC) is to find someone who can perfect her skills. Meaning help her improve her vocals, work on her peformance and stage presence, and promote, promote, promote. She tries to be humble, but in the industry that’s just for suckers. If you want to make that money and let people appreciate your talent ,you gotta be a go getter. Additionally, she should try her hands in acting, that’s another way to get her name out there.
