It sounds like the usual Dream song. I mean Mariah can sing but she’s fallen off. What happened to the “My All”, “Vision of Love” or even “Fantasy” Mariah. She needs to retire when she’s on top or she’s gonna end up washed up like Whitney.

i love this song! mariah is mariah regardless.
her style has changed but her voice is still one of a kind.
if she was still doing what she did in 94 people would say she’s boring and predictable. it’s a natural growth. artists change.

This was one of my faves on the cd as well. Only part I like about the remix is Dream’s intro. Ludacris could’ve been axed.

The original is WAAAAAAAAYYYYY better. I don’t know who is handling her promotion, but they keep pushing the wrong singles. Last album, they should have pushed Side Effects, this album, they should have pushed Ribbon but went with that insipid Obsessed. She’s a grown woman and her music should reflect that.

Further, Dream as an artist is not the heat so adding him to the track as a performer is not a good look. AT ALL.

One more thing, I was going to try to help her out and buy Memoirs when it first released but that mess was like $17, nobody is going to pay that for a CD these days. If this new release also comes with a high a$$ price, it won’t move either.

The original was better. Let it go with the rappers. Open your mouth and sang. You have an amazing voice Mariah. I am so sick of you dumbing down yourself. You’re not a sex symbol, your an amazing vocalist so stop trying to sell sex. Why don’t you watch MTV unplugged listen to your first four CD’s and get a freaking clue! Even your husband dresses older!

shouldn’t she be getting better vocally? i mean if my vocals were falling off i would be getting a coach asap but she sounded a bit nasally on some parts and her voice sounded like it was struggling w/ a simple song smh. i notice ppl like it when singers sound like they’re struggling though. no ma’am, i’ll stick with the old whit b/c she sang with exceptional ease

You don’t retire from your career because you and your voice MATURES!! And how in the hell do some of you compare a woman whose voice has matured with age, to one who ruined hers with cigarettes and drugs?? Just plain stupid!!

I LOVE memoirs and I’ll have the remix CD when it comes out!!!

Then again I can’t expect fans of “coochie popper in all my videos” Beyonce to know talent when they hear/see it, LOL!!!

The original is amazing! I didn’t even give her latest CD a listen because I didn’t really like what I heard so far from it. This remix is horrible! I hate when talented vocalists collaborate with ghetto a** rappers. I wish Mariah would stop it with these lullaby singles. A lot of her music sounds too much a like and is very juvenile and immature. Ludacris gets on my damn nerves. He started to fall off hard a few years ago and is now trying to regain his career by collaborating with ever artist’s single that he can get his hands on. It’s pathetic. He has one of the weakest flows that I have ever heard.

Can’t wait for the remix’es!!! They are wearing blue in paying homage to Hattie McDaniel’s who won her Oscar 75 years ago. Good looking out Monique!

I cant believe this! They messed up the song. The original version is just simply AWESOMENESS compared to this trash. The original is so good I had it on repeat in my car for like a week one time lol. Damnit Mariah you shouldn’t have touched this song! It should have been left the way it was I dont like this one bit.

oh please, Mariah doesn’t need to retire! lol she’s doing the world of music a service as far as im concerned, cause she could very well retire an rest on her laurels after all those years. And yes, she could be playing a music snob by refusing to associate her name to those rappers, but she puts them front and center with her on her tracks and gives them shine, cause she gets it. She’s number one already! She’s a star! I don’t think rappers features for her is a gimmick, she loves collaborating, and she knows guests enhance her music if done right.. well, true enough her Memoirs album is not nearly as polished as her earlier work, but obviously she’s not going back to what she did before..

The original is better, I like Luda’s verse (sort of) and The Dream was good on his actual verse, because that intro wasn’t great to me. The other remixes have been, that I’ve heard so far, so I might get this album.

of course like your web site however you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I’ll certainly come again again.
