Remember Nicole Wray? She had a hit song back in ’98 entitled “Make It Hot” (featuring Missy Elliott) and only released one album.
The singer has struggled to gain new exposure over the past few years with the tracks, “If I Was Your Girlfriend” and “Take Your Man,” but is now looking to venture out again. Her newest song was released by producer Nitti Beats via his twitter on Wednesday and is entitled “Listen To Your Heart”.
Personally, I’m glad to see she is getting back out there. I was a big fan of hers back in the day.
I still play If I was your girlfriend on a regular basis.
I like the beat and the song is good but her voice sounds wierd on this song.

I like this…Itz a grower…But Nicole Wray can’t release an album to save her life…I’ve been waiting for her to come back 2 the game for years, since I was like 13…I’m 23 now, so do the math…lol…Naw, but, I always loved Nicole Wray. She can sing like CrAzY…
I love that pic of Nicole….sigh… girlie’s voice is not what it was back in ’98. On the last couple tracks of hers – If I was your girlfriend – I’ll take your man – her voice has become this weird raspy chimuck like tone, lol! I wish her the best of the luck tho!

She does sound like a ‘ teeny bopper ‘ kind of artist – like a ‘ bubble gum ‘ here today – gone tomorrow 1 – hit wonder! Nothing special about the song or her sound!

Her first album was a classic. I have always wondered why people signed to Missy’s lable, she is kind of like a female version of Diddy give you one hit maybe a good album and then dump you and focus on her self (i.e Tweet). I would work with Missy, but I wouldn’t sign to her lable. Missy just seems like she is really focused on being an artist (nothing wrong with that) but it takes away from the talent on the lable.
I love Nicole Wray!!!! I really hope she releases an album soon!!! I have been waiting for years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She has so many incredible records that go unheard “Hurts To Be My Love,” “Bling Bling,” “Im Aint Ready,” “Why Cant I Forget Him” the list goes on & on she’s incredible!!!!! Oh and dont forget “Stand Up,” or “Dice Roll.”
I loved her song, “Eyes Better Not Wander” from back in the day. I like this new song here too. For some reason the music makes me think of Michael Jackson. I don’t know why, but it does. Her voice sounds a little bit like Fantasia to me. Other than that, it’s simple and to the point. I like it.

really like her and hope shes able to come back stateside and do some things. heard she was overseas doing things. at least artists have that option when producers and others are acting crazy over here pushing people out like WOCKA FLOCKA. i wont even get started on that mess. . .
