After a week of being ridiculed by the media, (including Howard Stern and Jamie Foxx), actress Gabourey Sidibe was spotted out and about in NYC. She hit up the Victorinox store then went to eat at the Baltazar restaurant with what looked like to be her father.
In related news, Gabby will be co-starring in the new Showtime series, The Big C, which is scheduled to premiere this fall. She will also co-star with Zoe Kravitz in the upcoming indie movie, “Yelling to the Sky”.

It can not be made right she is a great actress with a great personality but being in the public eye I think she should put in a little extra effort to present herself like the starlet she is. @cl I I think that Jamie Foxx should be called out on his bullsh*t. Last I recall he has a sister who’s disabled and overweight. I’m sure that when he put her on stage @ the Grammy’s he didn’t want anyone to talk about her. He is such a disrespectful idiot. I expected no less from Howard, but I expected more from Jamie because he’s a NIGGA in Hollywood! He should take Gabby under his wing instead of trying to cut her down. He needs to learn to respect people especially women. Someone’s weight is just that. But Gabby can lose her weight. i think that it is great that she loves how she is. but, i’m sure she knows that she must be healthy for her own sake. she doesn’t need the media to tell her what her figure might do for her health. i think that it is so sad that because of ‘precious’, the meaning of the actual word will change and refer to her weight. that’s bull. i think that our african society should not ridicule her, and instead encourage her to better herself.
