This is about Mariah receiving an award for her charity work with children not for being the best dressed or anything else. I congratulate her and hope that she keeps up her generosity towards those under privileged kids by sending them to camp. Anyway, I think she looks lovely and I would like to see some video clips of her speech. It’s also good to see that Nick was there to support her as usual. Also, Nick does a lot of work for the Boys and Girls Club so to him I also say “keep up the good work.”

The only way you can think of Mariah being mixed with African-American is if you believe in the one-drop rule, which means a pinch of african-american blood makes her black. There is another interview where Mariah was walking up the stairs, and a “brother” yelled “Are you black, Mariah” and she replied that she is a mixture of everything. SHE NEVER CLAIMED TO BE BLACK UNTIL IT BECAME LUCRATIVE.
