Erykah is one of the best artists of our time. I’d rather listen to musicians who challenge me and make REAL music, who talk about REAL shit, than buy into the crappy ass cookie-cutter bodies like Beyonce and Lady Gaga and Rhianna that aren’t contributing the mental awareness of society. We should exercise our minds, not let it bake under lame swimsuits.
l like her Music..and l think she looked good though sometimes l think the way she dresses is a little bit un realistic…but unique still in its sort of way.But still it doesn’t really work for me…

The lyrics to window seat are literal as such while I do think they are clever, and easily relatable to most any working mother/wife I really wouldn’t call them deep and the explanation behind the video isn’t really related to the lyrics of the song. So either she was making two different points or . . .. whatev. Erykah does as she pleases and that’s o.k. because in reality she hasn’t hurt anyone. I will say though that her display of nudity billed as self expression contridicts some comments she made about nudity on that Before the Music Dies documentary.
