has anybody seen the vid that inspired the “Window Seat” one? by Matt & Kim? they got naked in the middle of Times Square. one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world. positive there were children there. and pretty sure there wasn’t anywhere near as much discussion as this. just find that interesting.
honestly, i’m a litte tired of the ad nauseum speak on the video. she wasn’t the first naked person in a vid, and she won’t be the last.

and NO people, the vid wasn’t a direct reflection of the content of the song. once again, a concept that’s not groundbreaking. artists make videos like that all the time (“On to the Next One,” anybody?) and it’s their choice to do so. although i did get the idea of freedom/liberation in both the song and the vid.
I am also really tired of people making judgement about the video especially women…who are probably homophobes. The video was definitely of of the box. if all you got from the video was omg she naked then you were not getting the message or the concept of song. She said “people are quick to assassinate what they dont understand”. As far as what people are saying about kids being there come on people, do you really think that a kid has not seen a naked person before, do you think that all parents are monitoring what their kids watch on tv, its time for people to stop being so naive to reality. What I got from the video was that people would not understand it just as people didnt understand President Kennedy for wanting to stop segragation, so he was assassinated, so after her being naked someone shot her, the message was that she would be assassinated.Its the same as the President was being killed in front of kids like he was because it was a parade. There is so much more that kids see in the world than a naked woman. Im from a city that held the record for the most murders for many years most of the murders were kids killing kids.
