This was a great cause and all should be commended for their support but Solange is so undeserving of attention. How she actually got a deal with a UK based cosmetic franchise is beyond me. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come. Black folk died to be able to legally marry and raise their families. Now it’s all about how you look, how much money you have, and how famous you are.
Young black women need to wake up and stop idolizing celebrities that can’t keep their lives together. If the stats are right most of you you twenty somethings and younger will never marry the father of your children.

How lovely to see so many short hairstyles on the carpet – Mrs Reid, Solange but especially Halle’s hair which looks sooo good. If you’re naturally long that’s fine but as a wild n curly I’m tired of seeing so many fake tresses on the carpets which serve to make Koreans rich although still ignorant towards cursing Black people.
Sorry to hear about another broken relationship…let’s hope they make it work for the sake of their child or at least remain positive about each other. They sure made an esthetically charming couple.
