It appears that their intent was to make a buddy movie in the vein of Friday, but it looks like another embarrassing comedy that tries to hard.

This is straight up coonery. And you know what? Hollywood would not be making garbage like this if black people did not run to see this garbage the second it comes out. These movies are cheap to make and they make back their money quickly. The same thing with Tyler Perry movies. As long as people are willing to see homosexuals pretend to be straight and women acting out these fantasies of overcoming “no good black men” nothing will every change in terms of being subjected to these type of “movies”. There are never creative or innovative films being made anymore. We don’t have films like The Killer of Sheep, The Learning Tree or Do the Right Thing. All because Tierra Marie was in one movie does not make it untrue that she tries hard to be the sexpot in all of her videos and performances? What are you talking about? YES, she FAILS everytime she attempts to be this sultry sexy siren. This movie proves what a joke she is.
Terry definitely takes it up the as.s and I do not have to be there to see it nor would I want to be there to see it. That is how his lame as.s gets these roles and his reality show. I was watching Malcom X the other day and that movie alone shows black people have a lot of potential in this business, but yet we keep lowering ourselves to this mess.
