So apparently this music video has been out since earlier this month, but I just peeped it this week. It’s from Barbados born singer Shontelle and features singer/songwriter/model Steph Jones as her love interest.
Shontelle’s 2nd album, No Gravity, is set to be released this Summer and this is the lead US single.

Shontelle gets no hate from me and no comparison neither. But i would not say she gets nothing but love from me.
this song and video is a nice departure of from what trendy right now. Shontelle can easily gyrate through a whole video like Ciara, or wear leotard and panties like Rihanna and Beyonce but kudos to her for not going in either directions. Sooner or later she will catch on because all of her material are mainstream material.

This song is very boring. The lyrics are well written but I just can’t stand this type of pop slow/ballad music. Shontelle does looks a lot like Rihanna. It’s her eyes and lips. If she was light as hell then more people would see it. She sounds a lot like Rihanna too but the tone is not exactly the same. I really don’t like this girl’s voice. It’s very whiny and pitchy just like Rihanna’s. They are the type of singers who try to sing but end up hitting all the wrong notes and shouting the song. I am glad that she finally released a video that showed a REAL female, not a manufactured, superficial sex put that she played in her nasty “Licky” song. I don’t really see her going anywhere with her career and it’s a shame that she left college, where she was studying to be a lawyer, for this!

I think she looks nothing like Riri. The comparison is only because she’s from Barbados. To me she looks a little like Megan Good. Except for the American Indians aren’t we all immigrants? If any thing we need to increase the black population her in American no matter how seeing that we have the highest percentage homicide and incarceration rate of any race in America.
