Yes, it was number one in Brazil last year but I don’t think it was ever officially released anywhere, just leaked. I don’t understand Def Jam and their stubborn refusal to just close this lame era of hers out. “Rude Boy” was a fluke hit. After that, they should have just ended it and let her come back with a single and new release as consistently pop as RB. Rockstar 101 is the absolute lamest thing I’ve heard in years. I’m beginning to believe she didn’t care if it flopped in the US because Te Amo is the song she’s banking on internationally to compete against Lady GaGa’s new latin inspired single.

Te Amo is a tremendous song. Its romantic and so its no wonder Paris was chosen for the video. Rih is loved by the French and the city is coined and def is the romance capital of the world. The city of love and romance so this def is the ideal setting for this ish. GREAT CHOICE.

@bobby well if we’re on the subject of sales, why is it that gaga’s albums sell better? last time i checked the charts (that was last week), the fame (her debut) was in the top 10 after spending 75 weeks on the chart, then the fame monster ep was at like #11 while rated r which was released at the same time was at #21. like the post by mindful said, gaga has achieved what it took riri years to do and riri HAS been trying to compete.
