James “Tyra Sanchez” Ross (pictured above with the one & only Rupaul Charles) was crowned the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 2. Runners up Raven & JujuBee (pictured below) gave a good fight, but Tyra’s original fashions and stage presence took the show.
The sometimes controversial show aired on LOGO Monday night to record breaking viewership. Sanchez, the proud father from Orlando, went on to win $25,000 along with a number of other prizes.

I don’t know what your talking about. There wasn’t anything “coonish” about this show. For one, most of the contestant were white. Two, drag is a art form. You may not get it or understand it but it takes a lot of skill to do what they do. If you watched it you would’ve known that.
CL does a great job with posting positive things going on in our communities, so that argument isn’t even fair. This isn’t MediaTakeOut (dislike that site with a passion).

I ABSOLUELY LOVE THIS SHOW!! Some may perceive it to be simply men dressing as women, but it is an art form. It takes a lot of work for them to transform themselves into women – from the body padding to their wardrobe to their hair and makeup. I knew Trya was going to win from the beginning! I also LOVED Raven’s many looks. She was always fierce and her make up was on point, despite her attitude at times!!! Jujubee was soo funny! I will certainly be tuning into Drag U! Thanks for posting this CL!
It’s not just about men prancing around in dresses. Drag is a serious art form and you can make a helluva lot of money if you’re good at it. Get into it. Go Tyra!

The show is fixed. I knew Tyra was going to win from week 2. A lot of the challenges she won she didn’t deserve. I didn’t like Raven but she was more fierce and werked it more than Tyra. Juju was my favorite.
Happy for Tyra….I didn’t watch the show. Although I am bi, i cant watch drag queens. But I did catch the finale, and Tyra did a good job.

I loved this show it was one of my guilty pleasures, I had to watch. Tyra is a pretty dragqueen but his/her attitude was bad. I liked JuJu Bee she was my favorite. But when Raven dressed in drag she/he was fierce . I’m all woman by the way but some of those men on the show look better than women I see walking down the street everyday and thats a mutherfucking shame.
They all look good. I still enjoyed last season better. But this season was good. TYRA is literally OBSESSED with BEYONCE (not hard to tell while watching the show & seeing him in these pics). I think he got his nose done (aside from the make up effects) his nose looks alot slimmer than it did on the show & his teeth are done / fixed. And his breasts are REMOVABLE like a vest type of garment (the necklace hides the neck line). Which I think makes more sense than getting Breast Implants.
Raven & JUJUBEE also look fabulous. I was rooting for Jujubee. But Oh well. TYRA is FABULOUS & got what she wanted. She earned it.

I personally wished Juju won but I knew in my heart she wasn’t. She didn’t come hard enough in the costume department but her personality is fierce! I agree w/ someone who said earlier she’ll probably last longer than Tyra and Raven but that’s only if not winning doesn’t discourage her from continuing down this path. I can’t wait to see next season’s line-up and Drag University. I just wish I didn’t have to wait until June 12th to see season 2 of “Beautiful People” because that show is beyond hilarious!
