Steve Harvey and GMA’s Robin Roberts hosted the 1st Annual Steve Harvey Foundation Gala on Monday night (May 3) in NYC. Held at Cipriani Wall Street, the Gala supported the Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend for Young Men.
Academy Award winner Denzel Washington and wife Pauletta stunned the audience when Washington announced a $1 million gift to the Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend. Steve said this after hearing about the donation:
“I am stunned but at the same time I’m not because this gift exemplifies Denzel and Pauletta. Giving comes real easy to them and although that’s surprising to a lot of people, its not surprising to us. Marjorie and I are so grateful and will use this money in the spirit it has been given – to change the lives of young men around the world.”
Many celebs were in attendance and the event also had a special performance from Toni Braxton. More photos below.

Everyone looks nice…Pauletta is on it in her Dress…Marjorie Steve Harvey’s Wife look nice and she is showing off her nice shape and legs…BUT I think something more “age appropriate” would’ve been nicer for the event. Either way she is killing them!!!!

Peezy… Apparently Tamar is married to some superproducer named Vincent Herbert (do a google, theres pics of him around). I didnt even know she was married… She always seemed very chickenheadish to me. Yall peep her on Tiny & Toya this season? Between him producing Lady Gaga (” Turns out that Tamar’s husband is veteran Interscope Records executive Vincent Herbert, and Lady Gaga is one of Interscope’s stars!” ) and her touring and doing backup for Toni, they definitely a power couple.
Steve Harvey looks like the Valet parker and his wife looks like she got her dress from Forever 21, which is not a good look for a lady in her 40′s. She has a “decent” face (not pretty and not ugly) and a good body, but there are such things as age appropriate clothing and Steve should have checked her on that. The Washington’s look fabulous and classy.

Neither can I and for the same exact reasons. He’s arrogant, self-important, self-promoting, no-it-all that is just a turn off. They barely play music anymore on his morning station because he’s so busy self-promoting his agenda and making really bad, unfunny jokes, while Shirley (his side kick) fakes laughing and kissing his azz. I’ve tried to tolerate him, but just can’t stand the man who now thinks he’s an expert on female issues.

lLove hearing about events like this–it’s great to see our community looking after one another instead of being crabs in a barrel. Our youngsters need more positive influences who do more mentoring, teaching, etc. It’s a lot better than being a wastrel and buying gold, rims, Timbs, and all that other materialistic crap.
