Our photographer Taj Washington spotted Mashonda and her 3 year-old son, Kasseem in New York City on Friday afternoon (May 28th).
This spotting comes right after the surprising pregnancy & engagement announcement that Alicia Keys and Mashonda’s ex-husband Swizz Beatz made on Thursday night.
Mashonda didnt speak on Swizz’s upcoming plans, but seemed very happy to be enjoying a Friday afternoon with her son.
According to the New York Daily News, her divorce from Swizz was finalized two weeks ago but Mashonda wants money for missed child-support and alimony payments. Hope little Kasseem is doing ok.

Mashonda looks great as usual. Her son is adorable. Best wishes to her! Good things happen for good people, so she’s straight as long as she stays on the up and up.

Mashonda should not be blaming Alicia or trying to get through to Alicia or trying to gain public support that is the entire point. This relationship is between Mashonda and Swizz. The relationship is not about any other person. Mashonda should direct her attention to Swizz and if he’s over the relationship it’s over. She needs to grow up. People love to offer views on things they have nothing to do with. That is human nature but let’ stop attacking Alicia. Mashonda is not any different from any other woman who has lost the interest of a man. Just because Swizz wanted to start a new relationship with a Celebrity does not mean anything. Alicia did not take him from Mashonda. He had another child before Alicia in fact so spare me. Swizz was over Mashonda. You don’t know the dynamics of this relationship so to make a judgement is just silly.
Alot of ya’ll saying don’t judge and let them live and what not but truth is, even though you are seperated if your mate sleep with someone else thats cheating. Sometimes seperation is for one to get their self together giving you or your mate time. If someone step into that field during that time it can cause confusion. Anyway it really shows his character. Marriege is serious people, now you stepping into another relationship before you ended that one.( two weeks) Sorry thats not judging but its fact. Anyway, they celebs so I know ppl will look at them and turn the side eye..Questions is What if that was you? Cause it can happen to anybody, how would you feel? Something to think about. Anyway Imma still listen to the music, but don’t have to agree with everyone decisions. Just like some won’t agree with mine.

Some ppl (Nina) need to look up what adultry is. If the papers are not signed legally its adultry sweeti…A seperation is not a divorce, its exactly that! A SEPERATION. Alot of ppl get seperations and come back together, especially if they love each other. If he didn’t want all the drama then he should have waited until after the divorce. Now he got drama and everybody putting their 2 cents in it. Including me!LOL
Mashonda is beautiful and it appears that she is trying to keep her head up despite all the lies, deceit and cheating that she has had to endure. What she has undergone is hard for any women to go through. She has done a lot better than any women I know including myself. One of them would have been under my car!!
Even though AK was not married to Mashonda, she still should have respected the union that God has put together. All women need to respect that!
