Beyonce has acheived a lot of success and that’s commendable. I think she is a top notch performer, maybe the best of her generation. However, I really hope she discovers a way to reinvent herself and come with something fresh and new. She really needs more life experience so she can make better music. She has a lot of grammys and other accolades but her music hasn’t been good since DIL.

Nowadays grammys aint worthy 2 cents. They give them out to these artists like a grocery store giving out free samples. They are given out for the most ridiculous tunes. Everyone knows it’s all a popularity contest, and who well you greased the dj’s palms that year, so they can play your wack song every 5 seconds. It’s no longer about talent, and that’s why i don’t watch the grammys. Use to be hard to get a grammy and or oscar, now they just giviing them away to their friends in the industry, like candy. You got some excellent actors who never got a oscar, and then new comers who got one.
Example: Angela Bassett didnt get a oscar for her performance as tina turner, yet, (and i’m not taking anything away from her, cause i truly like her, and her performance) jennifer hudson get’s one for playing effie….smh….something is wrong with this pic.
Laurence Fishburne didn’t get a oscar for his portrayal of ike turner, but denzel washington got one for playing a crooked underhanded thug….say what!?
All of michael jackson songs were basically hits, and he didn’t get grammys for all of them. The same with janet….the same with toni braxton, etc.
