Personally, I don’t know why black women buy urban music. In the majority of their songs , it’s always talking about a redbone or talking about a latina girl, and these girls represent their love interests or desire in the music videos. Only until the black female fans started complaining and Hollywood started using black women as nonblack men love interests in film, and we are slowly becoming desirable to mainstream did the urban artists take notice. But in real life they date mainly nonblack women. I’m so over urban music and it’s artists.
