I respect the fact that Mary is one of the only few artist who still makes RnB music…all the RnB artist are makin dance or pop music now. And Mary still sells albums….so kudos to her.

Mary there r still videos with stories! Mary J as much as I love her, she didnt really evolved as an artist, still the same sh!t over the years I guess thats how ppl love her, when she is singin happy songz like ‘love at first sight’ or ‘just fine’ it doesnt work. But I applaud her for bein one of the best at what she does, r&b. Mary ‘Be without you’ is still my sh!t though.
Mary is my girl and 99.5% of the time, if she’s on it I’m with it.

I agree with #18, she sings about love, but that urban love. there aren’t a lot of songs like that out and i think its important to have songs like hers in the midst of all these techno, party songs we got out here. Mary is on her ninth album, she’s dope, fly and on top of her game and i appreciate all the music she comes out with, just because its about strength. she’s actually an empowering person, with all the campaigns she’s been doing. but anyways. i like it.
