Pop sensation Rihanna releases the video for her latest single, “Rockstar 101.” The new video is directed by Melina, with a special cameo appearance from Blink 182 member, Travis Barker.
There was a little confusion about which single Rihanna would release next, considering that videos were shot for both “Rockstar 101″ and “Te Amo,” but it is also been said that Rihanna, who is currently on her Last Girl On Earth world tour, is already wrapping up the follow-up to her latest project.

I have liked Rihanna since day one, however over the years you can see the gradual change to a more grown up and yes darker Rihanna. Still I love her music but invisioned a lighter happier video for this song. Either way, she’s got skills and since my name isn’t God I’ll leave it at that.

I dont think this is a good single choice, I think Photographs would be bigger on the US but the video is epic, for the ones saying that she always do dark videos, I only know 4 dark videos from her : Disturiba, Wait Your Turn, Russian Roulette and Rockstar 101.

LOL at the fans on here who are mad that people didn’t like this video! That’s all you can say is that people are hating, Rihanna is fierce….. LMMAO! You can never say that Rihanna is amazingly talented! She sings horribly, she sounds like a 13 year old girl with weak and shaky vocals, she cannot dance whatsoever, and she doesn’t play an instrument. So what talent does she have? This video was very creepy and very NASTY! The look in her eyes screams rebel and sl*t! Seriously, her movements and the emotion on her face show that she’s sexed crazed and wants to be “bad.” How could any female of any age be so loose enough to be half naked in a video and open her legs up for the cameras/do sexual positions? I am embarrassed for her and as a straight female, I felt uncomfortable watching the video and that’s why I skipped throughout the video and didn’t even finish the end!

I absolutely love this woman! She has come a long way musically & artistically. I can see how much she has really grown as an artist. Rated R was an excellent project musically. The craziness of her personal life overshadowed the music imo so unfortunately many people didn’t get the chance to really appreciate what it had to offer. I also didn’t necessarily agree with the single choices or choice of video directors. In spite of it all Robyn has still sold almost 3 million & will continue to sell steadily as people get past the b.s. and just enjoy the music without all the conspiracy theories. Good job Robyn! You know you are always loved no matter what is posted on these blogs.
