Trey Songz premieres the video for “Yo Side of the Bed”, the seventh single from his latest album Ready, with a special cameo from R&B songstress Keri Hilson who plays his love interest in the video co-directed by Trey and Yolande Geralds.

I just wanna start by saying a quote from the Prince of V.A: ” Hatin’ gets you nowhere”.
Now since I got that out the way, when I got this album I like the song really didnt care too much for it. So I listened to it over and over and I loved it. But then I got tired of it, so when I heard that they were doing a video and I saw the promo I was like ” Ok it my be an interesting video. Now that I saw the video it almost brought tears to my eyes cause like some said earlier this type of stuff is happen right now as we speak. Some is either going to get the one phone call or that knock at the door. Before these haters start hatin just listen to the song and watch the video, forget get who singing it. Its real out here, and I give the director so props for this video. I love the video and it made me love the song a little bit more.
Now on trey’s acting: I laugh at every single facial expression he makes when he is singing. And when they came hto his door and he started crying its just made me laugh and cry at the same time, because of this news he just received and his facial expression.
So I leave with a quote from Trey for the hater thats above me that said the only reason you saw the video was because keri was in it and to those the will so came flocking to this video to hate ” HATIN’ GETS YOU NOWHERE” let me say it again “HATIN’ GETS YOU NOWHERE!!”
Finally a video not all about sex and clubbing! Mr. Songz might be growing up. Ms Keri, beautiful as always and great message!

I would have probably liked it more if the man (Trey) was the one that was deployed, but then again, that wouldn’t have been believable with his flaming @ss.
I was crying like i had lost someone at the end of this video…i thought she was coming home…damn…i think that anyone who is in the armed forces would lovee this video that Trey and Keri did…its so touching and extremely realistic…my thoughts and prays to families who have lost a loved one to the war….

This is by far his BEST video to date in my opinion. No grinding, no sex, etc. I love the message behind it, because it’s real. This is probably one of the most realistic videos I’ve seen in a long time. Trey and Keri did a good job.
