In Lady Gaga’s video Paparazzi video her human self was killed and she returned as a robot on crutches…homo sapiens being replaced by homoevolutis.
“Back to Basics” was the best thing she’s done and probably, aside from “Back to Black”, one of the best things done in pop in a long ass time. Still, Christina’s a tacky, distasteful mofo and all it took was a little competition from an American pop star who could actually carry a tune for her to go off the deep end. I don’t see her recovering with this album. She should begin work on another and be happy that at least she’s relevant in inspiring that “Aint No Other Man” ripoff “Why Don’t You Love Me”

Love X-Tina and GaGa but X-Tina was here way before her. Christina is not swagger jacking anyone. Every pop star does the popular music of the time,whatever is hot. Christina is one of the best voices of her generation. She outsings everyone on the radio today.
I really like this song. I can definitely see a Santigold influence, but regardless of that it’s a better jam in my opinion than not myself tonight.
The Lady Gaga and Christina comparisons really won’t matter in a few years. At the end of the day Christina will go down as a legend and Gaga will go down as “remember that girl who wore the weird shi* back in 2010?” In the words of Mayweather, “some people are talented, and some people are gifted”. Christina is GIFTED. Her vocal exercises sound better than most of these other female’s billboard hits. If you haven’t figured it out by now, Christina’s not motivated by hits and she doesn’t feel pressured to constantly churn out meaningless songs just because they sell. She’ll always have a record deal, whether this album sells 10 copies or 100,000. You can ride with her or not, either way she’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
If you actually listen to the song it’s dope… it’s very Christina to me, but hey who am I but just a long time fan of her actual albums…
