Fresh off the heels of a new release, retro futuristic soul singer Janelle Monáe graced the stage of David Letterman last night to perform her single, “Tight Rope.”
Monáe released her debut full length LP, The ArchAndroid just yesterday. According to Twitter, the album has been flying off of shelves, and has sold out at a lot of Target locations.
Singer Kelly Rowland onstage at the World Music Awards 2010 held at the Sporting Club Monte-Carlo on Tuesday (May 18) in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. She was presented with an award in the Best Single category for her song with popular DJ David Guetta.
In related news, it was recently announced that Kelly inked a new deal with Universal Motown.

“Down Thru Thurr” is the lead track from his fifth studio album, Success & Failure, via Real Talk Entertainment.
The album, which is confirmed to have tracks featuring Bobby Valentino, Nelly and 8-Ball is reported to drop on June 22nd, but considering the late release of the new single, the date will be pushed back.
