Songwriter Ester Dean teamed up with Chris Brown for a new track, “Love Suicide.”
You may remember they appeared on the hit, “Drop It Low,” from the More Than A Game motion picture soundtrack.
“Love Suicide” was produced by the European team, Stargate. No official word or information has been given about Dean’s debut album, however, she has recently been in the studio penning tracks for Keri Hilson and Christina Aguilera.
Performer Lena Horne, hailed by the President and First Lady as one of the “most cherished” entertainers in American history, was laid to rest in a public memorial in New York on Friday, following her death Sunday at a New York-area hospital.
Legendary singers and actresses Diahann Carroll, Jessye Norman and Cicely Tyson were among the thousands in attendance. Addressing the mourners in an emotional speech, Horne’s granddaughter, actress and screenwriter Jenny Lumet said: “I’ve tried to sum her up and I can’t sum her up; summing up really means it’s over and I think that she’s not over and that she’s quite infinite.”
