Concrete Loop ‘Designer Spotlight’ Alumni Maya Lake (pictured above) of the ever popular Boxing Kitten held her ‘Resort 2010′ launch party at a Soho Rooftop on Thursday night (May 13).
The celebrity designer who has everyone from Beyonce to Erykah Badu rocking her creations, unveiled some new looks from her upcoming Resort 2010 collection (click that link).
I hit up the event with singer Estelle to check out the new designs and chill with cool people. The vibe was laid back with sounds from DJ Jahi Sundance and some of you may remember top model winner Naima Mora, well her twin sister Nia was there modeling some of Maya’s latest looks. YouTube sensation-turn-So So Def signee Dondria has gained success with her official first single, “You’re the One,” so it seems as though Jermaine Dupri is finally getting the green light on her debut album.
This new track, “Shawty What’s Up,” featuring Johnta Austin and former Crime Mob star, Diamond is the second single from Dondria’s debut album, Dondria vs. Phatfffat, which hits stores August 1st.
