Steve Harvey and GMA’s Robin Roberts hosted the 1st Annual Steve Harvey Foundation Gala on Monday night (May 3) in NYC. Held at Cipriani Wall Street, the Gala supported the Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend for Young Men.
Academy Award winner Denzel Washington and wife Pauletta stunned the audience when Washington announced a $1 million gift to the Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend. Steve said this after hearing about the donation:
“I am stunned but at the same time I’m not because this gift exemplifies Denzel and Pauletta. Giving comes real easy to them and although that’s surprising to a lot of people, its not surprising to us. Marjorie and I are so grateful and will use this money in the spirit it has been given – to change the lives of young men around the world.”
Many celebs were in attendance and the event also had a special performance from Toni Braxton. More photos below.

After numerous blogs posted a leaked version of his track, “Made” featuring Drake, rapper Big Sean took to Twitter to vent his anger and later spoke exclusively with Concrete Loop to explain the situation. He also added that the proper authorities are investigating the leak.
A lot of these versions of my songs are old. It’s almost embarrassig for people to hear my old references and rough ideas. You work so hard on something, and then when a messed up or old version of a song leaks it ruins the whole idea of the song. It ruins the surprise factor of hearing that song.
Now if people hear the finished new versions of the songs they won’t even be surprised… So now I just gotta go back in and whip some more music up. Not letting anything slow me down period… I appreciate ALL my supporters and believers being down! And I would appreciate if anybody who has leaked versions or unreleased songs of mine, to NOT put them out or release them. Please delete them. It’s way deeper than just having it on your blog first… It’s my life.
Like I said, I’m always working and got a ton of new music on the way… You will know when the official versions of songs get put out because we are strategically planning for summer/fall releases. Thank you.
Speaking of Sean’s upcoming releases, check out these never-before-seen photos from a cover shoot for his single cover art below.
