The internet is currently chatting about how much weight Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson lost for an upcoming film role.
According to reports, the star lost an amazing 54 pounds for his upcoming movie “Things Fall Apart”.
In the movie 50 Cent plays a football player diagnosed with cancer. He dropped from 214 pounds to an astonishing 160 with a liquid diet and three-hour-a-day treadmill walks for nine weeks.
“I was starving.” Now he’s back on tour and says, “I’ve been eating. I’ll be back in shape in no time!”

I think we need to remember where and what 50 cent used to be. Now he is getting criticism for being serious about role that involves detailing the emotional and physical ramifications of cancer? I think we need to chill on some of these statements, cause I much perfer seeing 50 cent doing what he has to do to succeed in a legit profession over what he used to do. I mean my goodness, one would think that it would be better to go back to the life of illegal living if a person was reading some of these comments…Give him a break and the respect he has truely earned.

WOW! Before I read the descrip I definitely thought 50 had that nasty oh wee! He looks older too, weight looks good on 50, I always thought so. It amazes me how he got small, to loose a lot of muscle mass like that is crazy. It constantly burns calories so he must’ve been a thousands time hungrier than the average fat to muscle ratio person.

OMG. I screamed when I saw the picture. This is not a good look. People in hollywood will do anything for a buck. I understand being dedicated but this shit cant be healthy. He look sick for real. In the face he look like he suffering from a lack of sufficient nutrition. This shit is scary. i swear i am about to cry. I hope the movie does good. But my god.

50 was an excellent person for this role. He had the physique of a football player prior to this role, and he lost the weight to make sure he showed the after effects of what cancer can do to you.
My daughter has Leukemia. She’s 5, luckily, her’s was caught and there are no longer any signs of cancer… before it was too late. I commend Curtis for doing this. It takes alot of hard work and dedication to be soo committed to a role that requires you to do this.
And I’m sure 50 wasnt stupid enough to put his health at risk. He probably had a very good celebrity nutritionist to assist him in this process. He just looks sickly because we are used to that nice GORGEOUS dark skinned body.
