Actress Zoë Saldana accepts the 2010 Max Mara ‘Face of the Future’ award at the 2010 Crystal + Lucy Awards: A New Era at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, California, on Tuesday (June 1).
Zoë, who arrived at the event with her mother, Asalia Naszario, said: “I’m so honored and proud that a line like MaxMara has been so supportive, not only in fashion but also for other fields in the arts like film. And to have the one award a year, where women get together and celebrate each other in Hollywood, is amazing.”

I hope she is not lightening her skin because on some pictures she looks several shades lighter. Maybe she is just wearing makeup that is too light for her. Congrats on the win Zoe.

Zoe looks incredible, however she is incredibly incredibly thin, You can see her collarbones do poke out a bit thats normal i have that too but im a healthy size 11 /12 and curvy. I know some people are naturally skinny but so many are borderline anorexic/bullimic.
i know this may be hard to believe but zoe has lightened her skin very slightly, using a famous and extremely expensive cream from a spa in texas. The cream for just 6oz can cost you $199 and up. It erases marks to make skin flawless, i frequent the forum last year or so an anonymous celebrity said they needed the cream to work as they had a big film coming up which i believe was avatar. She was obviously wealthy had enough cash to buy six or more of the creams in addtion stated she used hydroquinone in pure crystals to mix with own cream formaton highly dangerous. As a dermotologist/cosmetologist i frequent these sites to try and convince steady bleachers to come off caustic creams and use other agents such as Kojic, arbutin or azealaic acid, or niacinamide would not recommend using 2% hq or over for long periods of time can cause ochronosis in extreme cases.
I belive Zoe used a combination of things exfoliation, retin a , 2%-5% hydroquinone and arbutin, and niacinamide which is found in fair and lovely for overall brightness.
But by no means is she a heavy addicted self hating bleacher, as she is naturally fair, but she has lightened.toned the complexion very slightly which is ok and not extreme as case of sammy sosa
