I am so happy they were not there; that show that you do not need Jay or his wife for the show to be good. The Show was better without them. Last year they were there and it was horrible. (Not saying it was bad because of them).
What the heck is up with jada’s face?..and her outfit is a mess. She totally got cheek implants..She used to be so beautiful like a few years ago.
This was the best BET show. Prince tribute was EPIC. I love! love! everyone. Everyone was dressed to perfection and respectful.

This year, people were actually thanking Jesus in their acceptance speeches and even Kim Burrell came out during Alicia’s performance, talking about “If I ain’t got you Jesus.”

The BET Award were on point last night…not a single performance disappointed me. Some could have been better, but not utter disappointments like last year! CB was most definately the best and I thought Dirty Money was cool too!
I thought the BET Awards were AMAZING this year! Everybody came with their”A” game! Here are some of my fave moments from the BET Awards!
1. Janelle Monae’…she totally rocked that tribute to Prince. I love her energy…that is a true artist.
2. Alicia Keys just became the hardest working chick in the game. I would love to see others sing at least 10 different songs…then turn around and get on top of a piano while pregnant!
3. Of course Diddy and his backup singers did an awesome job.
4.Monica…great! I just didn’t care for the bat wings! lol
5. Chris Brown…what a comeback! I cried with you boo!
6.Nikki…i loved that she lipped sing all of her performances! lol
7. B.O.B and friends…i loved the positive record they did!
8. Trey Songz…he brought in the damn sexy!
9. Usher…he worked that stage and that mic stand!
10. Ludacris and Company…it was different witht the violins and of course Nikki!
The only thing that I did not like was the fact that they nominated people…like Lil’ Kim for example and I was wondering the whole time where the hell was the record that she did this past year? I like Lil’ Kim…but were they just throwing her and Rasheeda a couple of bones because they knew Nikki was going to get the award?

I forgot to say that Trey Songz was definately the best dressed…he didn’t have the best performance tho, he sounded like he was crying or maybe he was a lil sick. The man is talented fo sho, but he had an off night. Alicia was making me nervous on that piano…I thought she was gonna slide off that thing!

If I would have known BeYAWWWNce was not going to appear I would have watch the show, I used to love the BET Awards, Grammys, etc.. but stop watching them back in 2003 when I realized you got to pay for an award not earn it!!! How you wining awards for best writer, singer, etc… yet meal while, you getting sued, 6 other individuals co-wrote the song hmm, and 4 out of the 6 are related, hmm? ohh not to mention the repetitive look & sound for the past ten years & thanking people who had NOTHING to do with your album.
