I commend Chris Brown performance and very emotional ending, I don’t condone what he done and we all not perfect so I am hoping this the break he needs to salvage his career… I loved Alicia performance, especially when Kim Burrell stepped out and took over her song and turned it into a Chuuurch song. Keyshia looked good (despite people talked horribly about her wig). I like the Monica and Denise collabo, I heard everything about Monica had on a batmobile to her outfit look like one of the flying monkeys from the Wiz .. Tyrese was great, brother need to come out with a new album. My fav performance was El Debarge, that brother took me back, you don’t heard quality music like that anymore, I hope he make a comeback that was better than the Whitney comeback imo.

Overall a good show, it started off hella rough but cleaned up nicely in the end with the tribue to Prince
1.) I wish Kanye had performed a song I knew and actually liked
2.) Latifah’s opening was kinda lame till she started rapping which I haven’t seen her do since UNITY
3.) I’m a hugh EL DEBARGE fan and was amazed that he sounded just like he did nearly 20 years ago his ability to hold perfect pitch over a broad range is a rare gift- often times when we see those once greats that haven’t been on the scene regularly come out for shows like this they typically sound like hollow shells of their former self
4.) I like Trey but he actually dimmed his performance trying to Pull off that Purple Rain, but I understand him though almost every young person in the game has looked up to Prince at one time or another
5.) The Prince tribue was good but he has so much great music its kind of like where to begin- I felt Janelle Monae Killed it she was one of the few artsist I felt could pull off that particular song, I’m not sure if Alicia Keys would have been one of the ones on the top of my list to perform on the tribue shes an amazing talent but strictly vocally speaking she honestly doesn’t have the kind of range to really pull it off.
6.) Last but not least I had almost forgotten how talented Tyrese is vocally because he really did his thing

I thought it was a good show. Prince’s tribute could have had a little more though, tons of surprise performances though. El DeBrage, Tyrese, Denice Williams, and Keyshia Cole(minus the 2005 look). Usher actually had a good set, but nobody wants to talk about it because of Chris Brown. Lots of rappers all over the place, but there was a good mixture to balance things out.
I was so happy for El Debarge, im a big fan. He looked wonderful and he still got it!! I’ve read that Robin Thicke could have pulled off Purple Rain better than Trey. He didn’t do so well. When Alicia got up on her piano, first thing I thought to myself was…OH LAWD..please don’t fall!!! One thing to give it to BET I liked the pictures of the artist when they were babies and kids, I thought that was sooooo cute!!

I really enjoyed El Debarge, I’m a huge fan of all of Debarge, he looked great and sounded wonderful, the man still gots it!! Trey I didn’t care for, there are some songs that just shouldn’t be covered by other artist, his version and I hate to say Patti’s version of Purple Rain sounded horrible. One thing I thought was soooo cute, is how they should baby and kid pictures of the artist, I thought that was sooooo cute

Ok… how come El Debarge was the best performer of the night, YES…BETTER THAN TREY SONGZ PERFORMANCE! And he been out the game for 20+years! Show these youngins how its done El!
- Alicia Keys – Her pregnant ass was onstage like it was her world tour. I was wondering if she was planning on broadcasting a live birth or something. She looked and sounded great though.
- Chris Brown – I already said it, but his performance was DECENT. It does not live up to this praise you guys are giving it. Haven’t we seen him do these dances before? I mean seriously, some of you need to stop over exaggerating. He did just change the path of his career though.
- Willow Smith – It seriously breaks my heart to see a child that has so much potential to be beautiful…….you know what, nevermind. I just cannot with her.
- Dirty Money – What in the hell was that about? First of all, we couldn’t see a damn thing or a damn body in all that extra smoke and baby powder. I’m thinking it would clear up after they make their first entrance but no. And then you have Nicki Minaj looking like she is trapped in a corn maze with a blindfold on cause she couldn’t find her way out all that extraneous fog. Then, you have Dawn and Koolaid or whatever her name is dancing like they’re backup dancers..I thought they were apart of the group? And Why is Diddy always doing the most?
- Usher – Nice song, but boring..
- Trey Songz – Okay, he was doing TOO MUCH and it sounded a HOT MESS. I was disappointed and Prince gave him that serious side-eye lol.
- Keri Hilson – She always has bad hair styles. This one looked like a failed Rihanna attempt.
- Monica – Her voice is beautiful, but what..was..she..wearing? She’s usually on point with those things.
- Keyshia Cole – Glad to see her back.
Best BET awards show by far!!! Loved Chris Brown and he chose to cry on Man in The Mirror..priceless!! He really needs to look i the mirror and change his ways and I think that got him too, he has been doing good lately.

Dirty Money – why are they being called Diddy Dirty Money now? I really like “Hello, Good Morning” though – well I liked it until Nicki came out.
Drake – glad he won but now people are tryna call him out because he didn’t shout out Toronto .. like Toronto’s been helping him write his raps and stuff – please.
Tyrese – ooo I always forget he’s a singer for some reason but his voice is sooo good, and he looked really good as well
Keyshia – Hayley sings the song soo much better, I like Keyshia and all but where was she going with that blonde wig?
Usher – I kept forgetting that he performed! People were talking about his performance and I was thinking “when did he perform?” .. until I saw the flashback after the show. His performance was not memorable.

El De Barge – I didn’t know any of his songs until last night but my mom definitely enjoyed his performance, as did I. The old school performances are always the best ones – even if I wasn’t even “around” aka born when these artists were hot. I definitely got up and danced during his whole performance – no one that I know even knew who he was though.
DJ Khaled – umm why didn’t they notify Fab about their performance?! That’s whack and there’s no excuse for that. I love Fab and that was wrong ..
Oh and I was LMAO when Queen Latifah sang to Alicia and Swizz “We got Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, they make songs, and make babies. And I know she’ll be so cute! If she looks just like you!…………….Alicia.”
